Yep, I haven’t posted for a while so I thought I’d do an update. I recently got back from 5 weeks in Costa Rica. My wife came out for the last one. It was pretty amazing. Hot and humid for sure. I came back to perfect Utah weather but now, once again, it’s hot.Bikes in CR

I think that this is really cool! I don’t know if I could do it myself, but I’m really impressed.   

The other day I installed the newest version of Flash Player, which is 9.0.115.0, without really thinking much of it. Suddenly I when I went to certain sites that contained flash content, my browser would freeze and I had to force quite the app and restart it in order to continue. It was really annoying because it would be random. It wasn’t with ALL sites that contained flash, but just some of them. I noticed that if you watched a YouTube video or any other flash video, and it played to the end, that it would freeze up then as well. The last straw was when my wife went to look at her Nike+ page and that wouldn’t even load (being all flash), it would instantly freeze the browser. This happened with both Safari and Firefox.

I looked around online and couldn’t find anything on it, so I thought I’d try to revert to an older version of Flash Player and see if that fixed it. Sure enough, that did it. I just reverted to an older version of Flash Player 9 and everything is running smoothly.

I didn’t worry about doing an “uninstall” of any sort, I just ran the old installer and restarted my machine.

These days everyone has heard of bio-diesel but how many of you really understand what it is. I came across this Youtube video that explains it all.. Be sure to watch the second part that will link from the end of the video. Check it out!      

Here’s a page with a lot of different videos on making it yourself, but none of them are completely helpful.. They will give you a basic idea on how to make it though.

So, I was doing homework and studying for this test on Thursday when Lizzie called me and said she got free tickets to the Airwaves show tonight.. of course, as the good student I am, I told her that I should probably stay and keep studying.. but being the blink and airwaves fan I am, I decided to go and enjoyed the free show!!! Ok, so it’s been a while..   I believe that since the last post, we’ve moved back to salt lake, driven to ND for the holidays, I’ve started school and learned to use public transportation and lizzie started a new position at the canyons.. (it’s been a slow month).

What I really want to talk about  now, though, is a new IDE that I found which kicks ass!!!! It’s called Coda and it’s from Panic! Software (makers of the ever so beautiful  Transmit FTP client. This app is so nice and so perfectly made I don’t think I will ever use anything else. It takes everything I liked about Dreamweaver and puts it into a super streamlined package. Code-hinting, auto tag closing, super fast FTP, site management, CSS awesome and it all is encapsulated into one window.. best of all worlds!! :] If you haven’t seen it, I definitely recommend you check it out!  http://www.panic.com/coda/

This is a pretty sweet idea.. now to produce it so that it doesn’t look so ugly..

I really like stories like this.. Paul Potts is a shy, non-confident guy who tried out for Britian’s Got Talent and blew them away.. Watch his audition video and maybe look up a few more.. He’s really pretty good (I know because I have a lot of opera experience as many of you may know) :]
